This powder is traditionally used by the people of Chad, mainly women to soften, condition and strengthen the hair shaft helping to retain hair length by preventing shedding and breakage for stronger hair growth and length retention.

Pequi is a tree that is native to Brazil. Pequi oil is popular for the treatment of curly hair due to its high levels of tocopherol, vitamin A, emollients and essential fatty acids such as palmitic fatty acids. It helps to soften and condition the hair.
