A Gold Seat At The Table

Inspired by Shirley Chisholm's quote, "If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair," 

I created a gold folding chair pendant to honor her groundbreaking achievements and the ongoing fight for representation and equality. This piece symbolizes empowerment, reminding us of the historical exclusion faced by Black women and encouraging individuals to demand inclusion and advocate for social change in the spirit of the 1619 Project  - Johnny Nelson
