Traditional Ghanaian Batana Oil/ Palm kernel oil is produced using a botanical roasting method, native to rural parts of Ghana. The seed/kernel of the palm fruit which grows on the Palm Tree is roasted until oil is extracted. Ghanaian Batana Oil is sourced from an ethical, sustainable and non-destructive source with 100% traceability. 

Locally known as 'Adwengo' an Ancient African hair growth and sensitive skin secret. Rich in Vitamin E, omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants providing deep nourishment. This Botanical Wonder Oil stimulates hair follicles, promotes thicker, stronger, shiny and healthier hair. Acts as an emollient, to soothe and soften the skin, scalp & hair. Can help to promote hair growth, prevent breakage and excessive shedding. Fades scars and stretch marks. Repairs and restores skin.

Roasted Production Process: hand-made production process in Ghana. The Oil can contain grainy sediments from the palm fruit or palm kernel which is completely normal and does not affect the efficacy of the oil. Behaves like coconut oil - melts at room temperature or upon touch in the palm of hands. Solidifies in cooler temperatures in the same way and has a similar texture. 

Directions: Apply this oil directly to clean/ damp hair and scalp, from root to tip. In-between wash days, spritz hair with water or leave-in conditioner, then apply oil into hair and scalp from root to tip, then massage for 2-10 minutes, 1-4 times a week or daily on edges as a leave-in or rinse-out oil treatment or as an intensive hot oil conditioning treatment for hair and scalp. Can also be used as a daily moisturiser for face & body, as a gentle cleansing oil and makeup remover or as a massage oil.
